There are pros and cons in allowing the player to make as many decisions as possible. Pro: Player is more engaged, feels less railroaded by the story and can make it their own fantasy.

Con: Trying to write dialog for all the options that could have happened is hard to keep track of. The dialog part comes easily to me, I am not often stuck on how to frame a conversation but having to write X conversations that only will take 2 or 3 minutes to read adds up.

So lots of writing getting done with no worries about scenes or visuals right now and I am really enjoying it. There won't be a chapter 3 Christmas surprise for you all but I'll keep working. With kids out of school  over the holiday break there may not be as much forward progress but I now have a better laptop/desktop setup where I can go back and forth. Finally took the time to set up git and github and it's another thing I wish I had done sooner had I known better.
